Marion Trieste formed Trieste Associates, Inc. in 1998, when she had the foresight to see that the key to solving today's environmental challenges is to actively engage the people most affected by environmental problems. Since forming the business, Marion continues to successfully find ways to form partnerships among the various stakeholders affected by environmental decisions. Marion formed a business based on her passion and commitment to find mutually beneficial, cost effective solutions that protect human health and the environment.
Over the past seven years, Marion has worked on many wind power developments in the northeast to educate the public about the emerging technology. Due to her success at building partnerships, Marion is frequently asked to help others in the wind power industry learn how she educates the public while forming independent support groups. Marion provides high quality strategic planning to help organize community members through education, media mobilization, and public relations.
Marion has over 20 years of experience in designing and implementing meaningful public involvement programs, as well as a national reputation as a specialist in public participation for the federal Toxic Waste Superfund program. Prior to forming Trieste Associates, Inc., Marion served as the NE Regional Representative to the Sierra Club.
