Biggest Loser Energy Efficiency Campaign

Trieste Associates designed the “Biggest Loser Challenge” public outreach and education campaign as part of the Sustainable Saratoga Energy Efficiency Committee’s mission to show home owners in Saratoga Springs, NY how to conserve energy. The campaign consisted of designing a community energy reduction challenge with neighbors agreeing to meet monthly for six months and compare energy bills from the previous year. Trieste Associates shared their campaign organizing expertise with the Committee members, which included a successful press conference held at Marion’s home that attracted reporters from throughout the capitol region. The Biggest Loser Challenge concept was well received and is being used in other areas of the state. Saratoga Today, March 4th, 2011.
